This is the first pen where I have painted the inside of the blank or the tube (did both). It's a Freebie blank called Appeltini from exoticblanks.com (Thanks Ed & Dawn). I have three more blanks from them to use. The blank looks somewhat lighter than it did before turning and there are places where the white seems to show. It felt easy to turn and I got some really long ribbons off it. The hardware is a Wall Street II from WC.

Input appreciated and thanks for looking.

You'll be amazed at the difference if you paint the tube and blank red or green. It will darken it and make the red or green "pop".

I like to use silver too. White is just about my least favorite color to reverse paint. It seems to wash out more than enhance colors. But it does give some softer color if that's what your going for.
