a workmate asked me if I would like some of the firewood he had, this wood has been lying in the store for about 30 years.
His father was a carpenter and this was just cutoff, OK, what I can`t turn, I can burn.

Turned out (sorry about the bad pun) this was Ebony!

With Firewood like that, Andrew Looks like you might not have much to burn for Winter.
