It seems like it's been forever since I finally got over the problem of assembling some pens and getting them photographed, so that's why all of a sudden I have quite a few to post. I got this blue dyed fiddleback maple off of ebay- I'd admired the blanks for a long time- the seller frequently lists them. But I have so many pen blanks I'd resisted for awhile. Finally I couldn't stand it anymore and gave in and bid. And I'm very glad I did, they're very nice.

First is a sierra with a line of embossing powder. The picture makes it look a lot better than it really looks in person... :)

And then one made with everyone's favorite kit, a gemini. Again the picture really makes it look SSooooo much better than it really does... :)

(Just kidding about the pictures making the pens look better. I'd say the pix are pretty accurate, it just seems like for most people the picture never does the pen justice, so I thought I'd see what happens when I say the opposite! [}:)][}:)])
