finally made a pen last week.

i had to rebuild my jet mini lathe.
both bearings and the spindle in the headstock went bad on me.
fixed it and found out my 60 deg live center bearing was bad(flat spot). ordered a new one from little machine shop.

got the lathe back together and last monday i made this pen for one of my bosses that is retiring.

I had the box and pen ingraved by a local ingraver with his name and mos icon and motto. He was a tank comander in the first war in iraq.

he really loves the pen.
its a gentlemans pen wrapped in spalted maple from csusa.
