I bought myself an after Christmas present, Jet 1221VS Lathe ... fired it up this morning and turned several feather and one watch parts blanks I put together the past several weeks.

So, I take it that the lathe is total junk, and you're going to throw all those pens away and trash the lathe, right? If so, I'll be happy to take the pens off your hands, and the lathe.

I like them thar pens, especially the "tiger feathers".

All beauties! I especially like the feather-blanks.
Thanks Tony, feather blanks are still my favorite to make

Beautiful Pens, Jeff.
It takes a little more than a New Lathe to Produce Pens, Like Those.
Magnificent Blanks, Superb Fit and Finish,
Congratulations,
Brian.
Thanks Brian ... True, but the VS feature really helps

Striking pens, to be certain. High visual impact.
Nice stealth gloat on the new lathe too.
Thanks Herb, I thought I could sneak in a gloat ...

Jeff, I don't know what to be impressed with first. The blanks are terrific, the pens turned and finished like art, and I bet you could have done it all as well even with an old creaky lathe. Congrats on the new toy and all the great art it produced.
