Pheasant on an elegant beauty. I'm very pleased with how it came out overall. There is a tiny speck of brass tube showing through the feathers. Very tiny and only seen in very bright light. Other than that she's a beauty.

If you haven't turned one of these yet, it's a quick & relatively easy way to produce a very nice pen. Just make sure your tools are very Sharp.

This is a beautiful pen! The idea of casting a bit of nature beyond wood truly sparks an interest. Also the combination of the kit and the blank look amazing!

Beautiful job! Great blank, excellent execution.

I think those feather blanks we get from JohnU are actually from golden egg laying geese. They do very well for us!
