After rejecting two sets of blanks already turned, I finally finished an Emperor with a piece of Dario's Amboyna. The pen is finished with Enduro and three coats of TSW.

All comments welcome.

Whoo yaaa, I like that William. You did a very good job, fit, finish, style, the whole nine yards Buddy. The Emperor is now my absolute favorite kit on the market. Congratulations.

Very pretty pen, Cav. I'm having enough trouble selling the other "high end" pens (Barons and Gents in better finishes) so I haven't had the intestinal fortitude to invest in any of these yet. They are great looking pens though.

Nice job William.

Very good photo also. I like the way you presented the pen on the 2nd pic. Love that background...have to find me something similar.

BTW...thanks :)

William,

It was worth the wait!!!

Billy,

I have turned 3 Emporers and 3 Statemen. I take them to the shows to present a price point ($250 and $175). Then, my $50 barons look pretty affordable!! So far, I think it is helping to sell them. (Just a thought! Your mileage may vary!!)
