I finally was able to complete my first Stars and Stripes kit on a Jr Emperor. On the first try i sanded through the stripes. It was also one of the older style lower barrels. Ken was very nice and sent me one of the new style so i could finish the pen. But thanks to our very careful postal service, this is what i received.
So i had to glue all of these pieces back onto the tube while adding the white stripes at the same time.
I think that it came out great.
