About the coral...it looks good but are you not scared that it may damage your finish? I don't think I can do that...you are much braver than I. [;)]

I like PF and will be buying more kits soon.

Nice looking pens, Bill! I guess I'm going to have to order some of those blasted kits now that I've sen so many of them and finally got my "B" mandrel. [:D] LOML is going to kill me. BTW, I've never heard of that last wood type, but I like it.[}:)][:p]

Looking Good Bill... there ain't many woods that don't look nice on that kit... try the chrome kits also.. really sweet with cocobolo and bloodwood

Hard to tell but that last pen might be Brazilian Cherry. I have some blanks that are very similar in grain and color. (From what I can tell of color!)

Tip,
Good guess, but his first pic is Brazilian Cherry (aka Jatoba) and they do look somewhat alike. African Cherry (Makore') looks reddish like that. It is tough on the tools though. Neither are a true cherry (prunus). It almost looks like bloodwood.

Very nice, I have wanted to see a Jatoba pen for a while. I do like 'em all though.
