Now that i have a working lathe again... i was a turning fool today! The 2 resin pens were originally turned on the rikon that had a wobble (now i own a jet).... today i fixed them! The Celtic is a green mosaic that i back painted with black. looking back i wish i had gone with white... i feel that it is to dark over all. the other resin is a Cracked Ice blank from Exotic Blanks that was a joy to work with! The burls were both picked out by my wife. The lighter one is a stabilized Backlash Burl with gunmetal hardware. The darker burl is Black Cherry with gold hardware.
A big shout out goes to everyone that helped me with my lathe issues over the last few days. just goes to show you that this forum is filled with wonderful people!!
