I made a few slimlines in the last few weeks.

Paduak with Cocobolo Centerband

Checkered Segmenting of Maple, Walnut, Purpleheart, and Paduak. I then Dyed some Maple strips in blue dye. It didn't penitrate as far as I hoped so I ended up re-applying after the turning and then burning lines on each side to accent them. I am a heck of a time finishing this guy I don't know why but it took me 3 days of trying to lay on a CA finish and just never took very well.

I love the finish and centerband on the Padauk David... I really need to follow your example and make my wood centerbands smaller...

The segmented pen didn't work for me... just too busy looking I guess [:)]

Guts, that slight gold is actually unfortunatly a little bit of chipping on the finish when I separated it for assembly. The Paduak stained the CA a little orangish.
