A few recent turnings

Working on some inventory for an upcoming show.

First two are chrome executives made with my home cast blanks

This one went fast! It left before I could get my good camera out, so the pic is quite bad being from my cell. Had a friend come by looking for a graduation gift for their friend and picked out a Zen with an Amalgum Mutt from El Mostro here on IAP. I reverse painted the blank red. CA finish and polished with PlastX.

Beautiful job of casting and turning! I really like the first one..the graduated increase in darkness toward the business end of the pen really gives the appearance of movement. All excellent! Regards, Doc

Thanks everyone. I'm happy with how the first one came out too. I dunno how easy it's gonna be to try and duplicate the fade effect.

Thanks Chris, yeah it is. I do sell 95% of the ones I make though. Unless it's a special blank or something requested by a customer, I only turn my own blanks as far as "acrylics" go.
