A few pens from my castings

I've worked on several items today including these pens. One is Maple that I ran through the bandsaw a few times just to see what would happen. Half of it is blue and the other half is red. The second pen is a yellow bush called "Mahonia bealei". It kindly looks like a Holly bush. It was casted in blue using a pressure pot.Both turned very well and is finished with CA. I'm still learning this casting thing but it is fun. C&C Welcome.

I like that second one - I love the way wood looks with the acrylic mixed in. Too cool!
