Other than myself and my father no one on my side of the family served in the military but my wife has quite a few serving on her side. She recently returned from a trip home and in talking I realized I had never made a pen for the husband of one of her cousins who is currently in the Air Force. The rosewood cigar is for him. Larry in Harrow had sent me some sugar maple that was originally destined to become floorboards in WWII military trucks for the Canadian Army. The war ended and it got stored somewhere until he found it. The other 2 are made with this wood and will be sent along with a few others to our Canadian military next week. (Canadian flag at top of page). Got a good price on some bowties and El Grande kits so will be able to send something a little nicer than the modified slims I usually send.
