The segmented pens are my first. They were made with Teak and African Coralwood. I struggled with it. A first I tried using expoxy to glue the wood segments together, but didn't have much luck..just a lot of frustration. I guess the teak was too oily to get a good bond. Then I tried thick CA and had better luck. The others are Jr. Gents and Jr. Statesmans (purchased throough Anthony's group purchase...thanks Anthony) made of Dyed BEB, Spalted Maple, Amboyna Burl,

and Cocobolo.

Thanks for all of the positive feedback. I wasn't off work due to injury...just took a few days vacation to get some things done around the house, and of course turn pens.

The Pens are "Eye Candy"[8D]

After doing over 200 pens for the FFP program, I found that, while Gorilla glue and epoxy have their uses, Thick CA has worked best for me when; mating different woods together, mating wood to Corian, and Corian to Corian.
