Here are a few bullet pens I was asked to make from some of the recent fall hunting expeditions.

The brass/copper is lacquer coated and the antler is finished with 6 coats of CA and sanded to 12000 MM and Huts Plastic Polish.

From left to right......
2 x .270 cal. with Deer Antler
1 x 30-06 with Deer Antler
3 x 300 Mag with Moose Antler

Comments and suggestions welcomed.

Dave,

Did you make the cartridges yourself? If not, may I ask were you did get them? If you did make them, do you sell them and how much?

They all look awesome. I'm sure the recipients will be very happy to get them.

Thanks for the compliments thus far.

Dan, I use spent casings and real bullet tips. I get them from different sources, the first is friends, then hunting clubs (gun ranges) and from a local gunsmith who sells my pens. The bullet tips are all purchased items, the most popular is a 30-06 which I use FMJ's (full metal jackets) the remaining calibers are polymer tipped as this is as small a tip for bullets that I can find. As for the price, it depends on a few things, but the ones listed above will normally sell for between $40 - $60.

Thanks

Dave
