Finally got a chance to finish my commitment on these. The blanks are from left to right: Inlace acrylister, Redwood Burl, Mesquite burl, Padauk, and Imbuya burl. All finished up nicely with no issues while turning, though the redwood did develop a crack on the finial end. I think it was from some epoxy in the tube since none of the others cracked. The inlace and blue and white acrylic were done without any back painting. The blue and white showed way to much of the tube (which I expected) but the inlace showed very little brass at the ends.
