This one is a Gold Baron in Queensland Myrtle, finished with blo/ca.

The next two are for a lady to choose from, she wanted a silver fountain pen in burl, with a natural finish. She doesnt like the shiney plasticy look of CA. I used an oil, topped with Hut wax.

This one is a Chrome Sedona with Cooktown Ironwood Burl.

This one is a Rodium Jr Victor in Red Mallee Burl.

Thanks guys, I enjoyed turning the last 2 the most because I could use a simple finish, I dont have much fun doing the Ca finish, even though its getting a bit easier for me to get a decent finish with it.

I really like the Queensland Myrtle. Great job!

Thanks Craig, that Queensland Myrtle is lovely stuff, there's a lot going on in that blank that you cant really see in the pics.

It's not a common timber even in Queensland, despite it's name.
I recieved a couple of blanks of it in a timber swap I did recently with another member of the Aussie forum that I'm a member of, got some other very interesting ones I cant wait to try as well.

I love the last one, that's awesome!!!

That seems to be the common choise with everyone who's handled them so far as well, it's also the best quality kit out of the 3 .

I think that will be the one the Lady chooses when she see's them tomorrow.
That's OK, 'cause it'll have the biggest price tag as well .

Well the lady came back this morning, she liked the chrome Sedona.
She also bought a curly Black Wattle Baron rollerball, and a Macadamia Elegant Beauty.

The other two have had a few lookers, but no-one has parted with the dollars yet.
