Faux-pal Modified Retro

So this is one of Brooks803's opal blanks. Painted the inside white. Used silver tubes. As you look at this the pinks and teals of a real opal dance around. It is an amazing blank. Your comments good and bad are welcome. The modified is I replaced the finial and shaved the black and one silver ring from the centerband.

Looks GREAT! I think it looks better without the black portion of the centerband as it would have detracted from the overall pure look of the pen..awesome job...looks like a pen an angel would write with! Doc

Beautiful pen Hans..and the mods are a major improvement to that kit! I hate the black ring and ball on top.

Actually is says "faux-pal" where the "faux" is replacing the "oh" sound in opal.
