"Fatline" Slimline Mod

Playing around again with variations on the slimline kit. This is a Black Chrome kit from Woodturningz, and I used Mesa bushings in the center to set the diameter, then removed to get the blanks matched up for the "no center band" look. Yellow Heart with a band of Ebony glued on the upper blank.

Good for you. After you do a few you will be able to stop using the mesa or other bushing between the blanks. Just us a slimline bushing. You will find a diameter you like and can then remove the slimline bushing, push the two blanks together and continue. Lots of unique and nice looking pens can be made from the slimline kit. Keep up the good work.
