Yep, and it's been ground down to not have hardly any of the curved lip anymore. Hence how the pen can be fat instead of the bottom having to fit into the inside of the band.
I had one of these made before in Satin Pearl, which is a plating that scratches easily. That particular pen was one of the most ohhwed and awed over, so I thought I better make another one to keep around.
The most interesting reaction is from MEN, it's just thick enough and with that satin chrome finish, it's manly enough that they don't feel it's a women's pen.
