In an effort to slow down using so many kits, I decided to slow down a bit and experiment with a couple. Working my way to kitless so these may have helped build a few skills.

First up is a SPW Classic Vintage rollerball. Bought a bunch of these when I first started turning. Didn't have much luck with the tenon when I first started so I stashed them away. The only color I've liked with gold is blue so I dug up a blue acrylic blank. Wanted to do something different with the cap but the blank was just long enough for this. Maybe next time.

Next, I had a cigar kit missing the nib. Decided I would try to make the bottom blank with a built in nib. This is the result. Don't like the chrome/black with the blank but I think the experiment worked.

C & C (and suggestions for improvement) welcome.

Thanks for looking!

Love the Blue Roller Ball, Bill.
Terrific Closed End, and Lines.
Superb Fit and Finish.
With the Cigar, the Body Bulges, then tapers too much to the small Closed End for my taste.
I don't mind the Black and Chrome on the Cap.
Brian.
