Based on the feedback about the executives I posted earlier, I agree that the satin was the wrong finish for the rosewood one. I pulled it apart and redid it with an old blank I had in my box. I think it's a polygem. Very hard, but turned nice. If anybody knows for sure what blank it is, I'd love to know, I wouldn't mind doing a few more like this one.

Perfect match!

Thank you. I'd love to find out what blank it is, looked at the Hutt site, none of the polygems they have listed look quite like it, but it's hard to tell from the pics there. (Seems like they like to take a pic of the cut edge, so you can't really tell)

I'll Fed-Ex one of my cats to anybody who can tell me where I might be able to get more of those blanks, that's a look that should sell well. (and if nobody replies, I'll start mailing cats off at random until somebody talks).

Now that's a Satin Finish that does belong Steve.

Thanks for showing me what I couldn't put into Words.

On that the"X" Blank is right.

All I have got to do now, is find what is "x"

Sounds a lot like Algebra, or what I can remember of it.

Foohie, too many years ago.

I knows what I like, even if I can't say what I like!

A great "Thank You."
Brian.

I've had the same experience with this kit. The finish just doesn't seem to complement many colors, but does seem to work well with muted pinks, purples, grays.

Good job.
