I don't show a lot of pens, however this one appeared worthy. This is a 22K Jr Statesman II dressed in Eugene's Pecan Root Burl with White Alumilite. I didn't do much, I just turned the beautiful blank that Eugene made. I soaked in some thin CA as the Pecan Root Burl seemed like it needed it. My pictures are getting better after reading a ton of what Gerry, Karl, Hank, Eric, Chris, Scott, Greg, Keith, etc, had to say in the photography section.

Tim, Beautiful pen and OUTSTANDING photo. Always nice to see what may babies look like when "they grow up".
Thanks for posting, Eugene

Thanks for the nice comments everyone.[:I] The blank was beautiful, I just turned into a pen. It almost looked like Eugene pulled pieces of wood out, leaving the spalt, then injected the Alumilite, then ran it through a vacuum. The white is sucked into all the little voids. These blanks are just awesome!
