Well, I broke out the camera tonight and took some picture of some of my recent pens. This is a black Ti Long Click in a "Texas Worthless Wood"™ using Escarpment Live Oak Burl and Hill Country Ironwood with blue swirl Alumilite. It was all cast as one piece to make it seamless. The Escarpment Live Oak is the darker wood. The finish is CA of course. Thanks for looking!!

What a lovely pen! I like how the long barrel shows it off nicely... that's the first time i've seen 2 different species of worthless wood in the same blank, I likes it!

Forgot to mention, this was turned truely between centers. I could not find one of my long click bushing and had already drilled and glued in the tube and di not want to waste it. I just inserted my dead center and live center directly into the tubes and turned away. When close to final size, I used calipers and the final pen was right one. Can not feel the transition from wood to metal.

Thanks again, everyone, for the nice comments!
