This is the worlds greatest escape artist. Rarely have time to make any pens, but my wife does love octopus so I thought I should make her one. Upside to being on leave for a few weeks, gives me time to play with new designs. I personally love the way it turned out, he is visible yet subtly hides in the backdrop. I attached a few close ups and the original rod, as the image wraps 55% of the pen it is difficult to capture it all.

So there ya go Steve, I made and showed a pen. :tongue:

Feel free and comment or criticize my work. 16 yrs of marriage, my ears are well tuned out of whatever you have to say!

Nice work, Jeff. Turned out good! First time I ever saw octopus on the menu was a fam trip to Mexico LONG AGO. Youngest son ordered it ("pulpa" is the Spanish word, I believe). Couldn't believe it. And he liked it! Hey, Mikey!

Anyhow - looks super - and the colors are perfect for the blank, too. Looks "Carribeanish". Nice work!

Hope you are recovering nicely and that the piano is progressing.

Very cool! I really like the touch of red that gives it sort of a coral look to the aquatic blank.

Psst. BTW, it looks more like a squid than an octopus. It will be our little secret.:wink:

I guess i am just getting older Steve. Lifted something to heavy maybe. Its not some uncommon injury or big deal, i had it fixed last monday, just 4 weeks downtime then back to work i go.
