Absolutely beautiful pen made with a gorgeous piece of wood. Honduran Rosewood Burl? Regards, Doc:)
I don't know Doc, I went into the local woodcraft store and Steve (pensbydesign) said "Here check this rosewood burl out" and we all know what
happens next, I need it !!
When it comes to identifying wood ,I'm not very good,it must be a mental block.
I either like it or I don't ,I actually envy the guys who can talk about wood
and know what it looks like without a picture.
Thanks for the complement.

Mark, it is without doubt a beautiful pen. The finish looks great, as does the fit.
But, I find it difficult to look at. Because you have cropped the pic so much, it appears almost like I'm trying to look at it through a small window or keyhole, almost.
I know for sure that the hardest part of this hobby is showing a decent picture so that our peers can see what we see. Mine is far from perfect either.
You've nailed the pen making and finishing process already, now play around with your photography and presentation because your cool work really deserves it.:)
