an Emperor in precious "AAA" HHL

This is my first Huanghuali Emperor I just love this wood I do believe it to be the most enigmatic timber in the world and perhaps amongst the most beautiful. This particular blank exibits every thing I love about this timber burl figure, chatoyency and Class I just cannot put the pen down.The book it rests upon is entitled the beauty of Huanghuali by John Kwang-Ming Ang well worth the money if you can get a copy.

Very nice grain pattern. The color is outstanding. You have to see wood in person to appreciate the colors of this wood.

I am finishing my Huanghuali blank I got from you awhile back. Has an outstanding ghost face on cap. Color is fantastic. Will post a photo when I finish pen.
