Emperor goes sailing....

This one is a rhodium and 22K gold Emperor Jr. kit from CSA. The blank is an acrylester called Ocean Mist from Woodturningz. I love this blank! The depth and transparency of the blank are incredible! I painted the tube white and sanded the blank 12000 micromesh and polished with a white diamond puff. The pictures don't do it justice. As always, comments welcome. Thanks for looking!

Beautiful work Nyla, that makes for very combination, the white on the tubes really highlights the colour in the blanks, well done.

Great job! I like to paint the tubes and inside of this blank a royal blue. Really brings out the "ocean" colors.

Only question I have is: Are your bushings out of round? It looks like there's some blank end showing in the middle pic at the centerband. Top barrel, left side of the band. Could be an illusion, but given these pens are so expensive, it's best to know for sure as to get the most bang for your buck.
