Emperor Cottonwood Burl Pen

Did an Emperor fountain pen with cottonwood burl recently. Finished with CA. Has incredible depth and fine lines in the burl (looks like cracked glass). I just wasn't able to capture in photo as seen in person. Background is slabs of cebloplast by Mazzuccelli of Italy I just recieved in mail today from Elliot. Nice stuff. Gonna make alot of pens :biggrin:

Given the right blank the Emperor can be a beautiful pen.

Even that fussy background can't detract from the pen
