Emerald Sierra

A request for a green pen was presented to me , for LOMLs daughter . Yes , it is her Christmas present . Had to go to the Rockler store anyway , so I picked up this Emerald Green acrylester . The kit is a Two-tone ChromeStyle A Sierra from Ernie at Beartoothwoods . Wet sand 400 & 600 , MM thru 12000 . I use Novus #2 then Maguires Plast-X polish . Photo doesn't show the Glassy look . Hey Chuck, that turned out very nice. I think that is the perfect kit for that blank. I like that green.

I don't know if it is the picture or my monitor, but that looks more blue than green, but it looks great in any case.

Neil , Acrylester is fun to turn . I like the ribbons it makes , now that I've learned how to use my oval skew ! Thanks Neil :biggrin:

I used the same blank with a platinum Euro kit. Really makes a classy looking pen.
