Elegant Beauty with Sierra

My first of this kit. I placed it next to a sierra for size reference. It doesn't look like it, but the finials of both are lined up, so you can see the length difference between the two. I thought it would be more like the sierra, but the finial twists instead of the nib. It seems nice though, and I think the ladies will like it. It is Dyed BEB with CA finish.

Nice new kit. Not sure if the pictures do show the comparison in length properly: in the first one the new pen looks shorter, in the second it looks longer!

Thanks for the comments. You are right the angles are off in the first pictures. Here is another one that shows the comparison better I think.

If the finial twists, won't you end up scratching the finish on the barrel?

The band with the clip stays put, and only the finial twists. So there is no risk of finish damage.

Okay, well I've gotta ask...where did you order that kit from? I like it a lot! Great looking pen.

airrat - I like them both. The finial twist of the elegant takes a little to get used to. The elegant refills through the nib, so no wood is ever exposed to the customer. I like that. As a guy, I'll stick with the sierra for personal use, but I think it will be very popular with women. Overall it seems like a good kit.

thefunkyP - The kit is available from makaiolani over in the business classifieds. It is a new one he just got.
