My first PR blank (thanks Jim), on Berea's Elegant American, Ti gold. Finished this last night, to be mailed out today -- quick photo using an old camera from work and no photo software.....colors are actually much more vivid than this photo shows.

I really like the looks of this pen, the weight and balance are great -- but like everyone else, I hate the sharp edges on the center band. After reading several topics about it this morning, I will need to try to smooth out the recess next time using clear nail polish or epoxy. Pen assembled fine, and had no problems with the transmission.

PR was fun to turn - sharp skew, wet sanded to 2000 grit, plastic polish, and Ren. wax. Lots of ribbons...ribbons with static cling.......

Feel free to comment or critique, and offer any suggestions for improvement.

Thanks for looking,
John

Looks Good John! Sorry the white turned out. If we do it again I will wait for the purple and yellow to sit up alittle longer. Nice Job tuning I'm sure your friend will like your work!
