Had some Pen time today so I am working on pens for our next show. We will be at Markers Mark Distillery next month for a one day show. I am going to build 20 slimlines made from Whiskey barrel staves. I know I can't use the distillery's name but I can get away with Kentucky Whiskey Barrel Pens.
Oh and my last three arrow pens are done----that makes a total of 6 of them.

No offense guys and gals, but I've never had any luck with spring and summer shows. They are what I refer to as "FBI Shows" - people come and fingerprint all your stock, steal your ideas and don't buy anything.

Last year I made up a bunch of these pens---I saved all the scrap and used them to BBQ-----worked real good.

I'll have to try pens from wine barrels since I'm near the CA wine country. The arrow pens look great.

Mike try and get the tops or bottoms---messing with the curve is a pain.
