Here's a recent commission I just completed.

The body is vintage cellulose acetate while the cap, section and end trim is Opal Twilight from Jonathon Brooks. There is a Fire Opal cabochon on the cap and the rings are solid sterling silver.

The customer came up with the stainless steel octopus roll stopper and the size of it dictated the width of the cap. The cellulose acetate material was pretty slender, and at first I was concerned that the step between the cap and body would be too big, but I think it came out okay.

What a Magnificent Pen, Eric.
I don't know where to start, well perhaps with the "Elephant in the Room", in this case the Octopus Roll Stopper.
What a Brilliant Accessory, it captures your Eye, as it Entwines the Cap.
The Vintage Cellulose Cross Edged Body, is Stunning, and one Seldom Seen.
Jonathon's Cap Perfectly matches the Spectacular Presentation and Appearance, Further Adorned with a Beautiful Opal Cabochon.
The Blend of these Materials, Your Design and Artistic Talent, Supported with your Outstanding Craftsmanship, have produced a Fantastic Pen,
Well Worthy of a Front Page at Least.
Congratulations, and Thank You for Sharing.
Brian.
