Thanks to your posts on the other thread about my acrylic Thin Blue Line pen, I decided to try making one from Ebony. I just happened to have some Madagascar Ebony in the shop, so here are the results:

I'm a bit paranoid now about scratches, and I think I still see some, but I have to say, I REALLY like working the Ebony much better than the black acrylic. It turns so much smoother, and I actually think I prefer the less glossy black. It makes the blue line stand out better.

Looks beautiful. I like the Ebony also. Makes it look richer than the other one. Of course you could matt finish the other one.

I love to see people doing different things with different combinations of woods and acrylics. Nice job here. Try that on a nice fountain pen it would be very elegant.
