This one turned out with a glass finish BUT I did something wrong with the construction. Unlike the other, this one will not open.

Those look outstanding!! I found on a couple of my cigar nibs were too small for the pen point to extend forward...not sure if that is the issue or if your mechanism is fouled up.

No, will not move at all. When it was out of the barrel, the bottom twisted nicely inside the Sierra, but when assembled, it froze.

Thanks Dan, I did have it extended so I know the hole is large enough for the pen point. Good idea though.
