Ebony

This was a real bear to get right----it spent the better part of a week on the lathe. This pen was a order from a real good customer/friend of mine.
I wanted perfect.... The kit is a baron from AZ the blank is ebony and the finish is everything in my shop.--some stuff a couple of times.
Oh I bet I took 40 pics to get these two that look half right--- shiney Black is real hard to get a good pic of.

They just call it Black Asian Ebony.
I know it is the Blackest wood I have ever seen.
