ebony and "pre" ivory

in fact these are piano keys. cross your finger that the ebony doesn't crack on me like the last segmented style pen i used it on. as you can see the kit is a Jr Gent. Rodium Rollerball.

Beautiful work. Control the temp and humidity. Ebony left on display outside will crack!!

No big swings!! In a man's shirt pocket, it will be ok. Left on a desk over a weekend (a/c goes off in many buildings), not so much!!!

Treat it well and give a "disclaimer card" when it is sold!!![][]

One of my first pens is made from ebony and it hasn't cracked yet.

The only ebony I did cracked. I haven't done it since. No call for it, so why chance it.
