Not posted much on here guys and girls but always enjoy watching and looking at all the great pens. We have an active UK forum that I visit regular and know a few of you from over there..
Here is my kitless effort for the USA forum
Ebonite blue mottled.
Clip is handmade from a piece of .9 brass plate, hand shaped and finished.
Not made any of these kitless for over 10 years, used to make them with ACME 1/2"x10 thread for the cap. this is made using the 12x.8 triple purchased from the GB the first time it was run.
Nib to body thread is 9 x .75
Fitted with a bock nib and housing.
Used to make them with my dad, not done any since I lost him and was difficult getting his old notes out and reading them.. But hey! enjoyed doing it and I am planning another one in the future..
Had to make a few changes along the way as his drawings didn't have the ink converter and only catered for a cartridge in this design.
Noticed after taking the picture of the cap fitted as it wasn't screwed together, but it does and there is no gap..
