Ebonite & Deadwood cast

Finished this one today, Lower barrel is ebonite & the cap is one of my Deadwood Artisan Pen Blanks, stabilized white oak burl and cast.

Love the Cap Tim, a real scene stealer.
However I am wrestling over the Ebonite body.
It Reminds me of somewhat of a person dressed in a Tuxedo wearing an
Hawaiian Shirt.
Both components are great, just don't know if they click or belong together.
Would be interested to read others thoughts and comments, I am a very conservative person and this may be shading my taste.
