Default Easy Way to Finish Wood & Resin Blanks

A realtor friend wanted to design her own pen and this is the result. I wouldn't have used maple with the pink resin but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I carefully sanded the maple with 400 grit then polished both wood and resin to a nice gloss using EEE Ultrashine Wax. A quick coat of Renaissance Wax to prevent finger prints. Easy peasy!

Very nice, Steve !!

But I thought you would have put rhinestones at 90 degree intervals, or perhaps 60 degrees, around the maple bands .... I seem to recall you are good at that kind of thing !
