Eagle and Desire Ironclad Watches

First chance I had to make any pens in a while. Came across a couple faces that struck my eye. Don't post many pen pics anymore but these two turned out pretty good I think, so I had to share.

Look good man! I gotta say that Eagle is my favorite, that's a face fit for an Ironclad. Keep yourself out in the shop more often!

Can you go into your process a bit? Is that a tape you are using underneath?

What are you using to bend your cogs, etc?

Stephen, Yes its metal foil tape. I use dowels and a homemade wooden dapping block to bend the gears and faces. Simple to make by drilling various size hole to match pen tubes in a block of hardwood and then sawing it in half. Then you have two for the price of one
