I got this blank from "kirkfranks" in a trade. I really needed a shop pencil, so this immediately became a good candidate. This was a fun blank to turn as it "revealed" itself the more I turned. The dye was a light purple, but it didn't come through all that strong. I used Russ' method of CA/BLO and put on 5 coats. I kept the finish rather matte as this will get banged around the shop quite a bit. Fun pen for personal use!
