Playing with the dyes today.... added a little of this, a little of that...

I also tried a maple pen... would NOT absorb any of the color no matter what I did!

Learning... trying... experimenting...

i really like the colour combination of this pen, shame about the scratched centre band, could you paint it out.
ps, where do you buy the clear acrylic stand from..

The 5 I ordered are all like that... guess I shoulda sent it back... oh well..

I got the stand here when someone was having a group buy on them...

Mark, try a fine tip sharpie to restore the black in the center band, after a few hours it will become reasonably permanent. The dye job looks great, nice looking pen other wise.

Marc that looks great, I have had several dye jobs that don`t turn out right (in my eyes) but someone else thinks that they looked awesome. [:0]:D
