Dyed, Segmented maple

I did this as an experiment and liked the way it turned out.
First I dyed 8 slices of maple green with ritz dye, then I segmented them more or less at random in the lower barrel.



If I do it again it'll probably be on a higher-end pen, given the amount of work involved.

Yeah, it did get rather busy there. I wonder how it would look on a sierra. maybe I'll try one this weekend.
