Dyed Curly maple

A friend wanted to donate after she heard about the blanks and wanted to know what she could do since she doesn't work with wood. So I made her a dyed curly maple fountain pen as a way to say thank you for her donation.

Gotta love curly maple. It is as beautiful as any wood you can get. I like the dye job and the pen. Very nice job.
