Dyed Box Elder Burl - Baron

In between casting batches, I've been catching up on my photos. Made this pen a few months back, but never got around to getting it shot for real.

This is one of my "Charcoal Shimmer" dyed flame box elder burl blanks.

Finish is MM12000, CA/BLO to pop the grain, then straight CA, then MM12000 and waxed. Chrome Baron from AS.

Stunning, and I am in awe of your photo's as well. Maybe you would consider posting in the thread I'm starting in the photo section about resizing without losing clarity. By the time I shrink mine down to web proportions, they lose their clarity, while yours maintain quite nicely.
