This one is for a friend of mine who was DM in our games. I'd been trying for about a year to dial in the different elements I needed to get this one done. I made the top barrel blank short and then squared it up on the lathe with my skew. The die was drilled out at 7mm, and glued in place with CA. I had to take the Dremel to the clip to make it fit over the tube, but I got it done. It's a Corian pen, and I chamfered the edges of the bottom tube to try to keep it from cracking on assembly. Has 2 other blanks FAIL during drilling and turning, so I was REALLY nervous pressing this together.

I still have a box full of 1st & 2nd edition books, modules + my fancy poly dice in a box in the attic ;) It's all computer rpgs for me these days though. I haven't had a PnP group in probably 20 years.

Unique though, I'm sure he will dig the pen.

I bet a talented caster might be able to come up with some d&d type blanks.

Nice looking pen

That conjurs up too many all nighters, too many Doritos, too much soda and beer, too much of a lot of stuff.

Oh no, I really was a geek with problems.
