That looks super! Now, where did you get black (Baron?) hardware? And...what's the body material? Unusual finish, but it looks really good on this pen. Excellent in all respects...well done.

I'm going to guess that its the new Panache kit and Ebonite blank, am I close? Whatever it turns out to be I do really like it. You did a very nice job Chuck and I would bet that we'll soon see several of these.

Very nice Chuck. The new panache kit is going to offer a whole bunch of new ways of building it. I too am wondering what the material is. I think Lucite would be shinnyer than that.

I guess, a panache kit made out of derilin, but that's just a guess [:D]
Super looking pen John. The only down side to that pen is the nib, get rid of it
and put something deserving of your work on it [:p]

Does the cap post?

I, too, would love to see a photo of the pen capped.

Great job!

Here is a quick scan of the pen with the with the cap closed. The scan is a little dark but I believe you will get the idea. The original Panache style cap does not post so I did not even attempt that. I am sure someone will.

Glad everyone seems to like it. I have so many ideas for this kit I just had to start somewhere. Can not wait to see the directions others go with this very versatile kit.
